Congrès IHC 2018 à Istanbul

Dessiner la future horticulture mondiale……

Cette année, au milieu des splendeurs d’Istanbul, se tenait le 2018 du 12 au 16 août.
1800 délégués de 90 pays, 250 conférences, 39 colloques, 11 workshops ont été l’occasion pour les scientifiques de l’horticulture de se rencontrer, d’échanger et de concevoir le futur monde horticole.

Le Professeur Yuksel Tüzel, président du congrès, a invité le Comité International des Plastiques en Agriculture (CIPA) à présenter «  Plasticulture : une économie de ressources « .  Le plastique joue un rôle important dans l’agriculture écologiquement intensive, mais il est nécessaire de réduire les externalités négatives en organisant la gestion de la fin de vie du plastique à l’échelle mondiale.
Le Congrès a été l’occasion pour Bernard Le Moine, Secrétaire Général du CIPA, de lancer un appel à la communauté scientifique pour qu’elle participe à l’information à l’éducation et à la diffusion sur la nécessité de la gestion en fin de vie des agro-plastiques.
Professeur Tüzel, nouveau président de la ISHS : «  la production horticole n’est plus possible sans plastique, elle mérite l’attention et la participation pour une gestion des déchets contribuant à une production horticole durable. Merci au CIPA de mettre en valeur cette importante problématique.«

This year, at the midle of the Istanbuls’ splendors, was hold the IHC 2018 from the 12th to the 16th of August.
1600 delegates from 90 countries, 250 conferences, 39symposia , 11 workshops were the opportunity for horticulture’s scientists to meet, to exchange and design the futur horticulture world.

Professor Yuksel Tuzel, congress’ president, has invited the Comité International des Plastiques en Agriculture (CIPA) to present “Plasticulture: an economy of ressource”.
The plastic in agriculture play an important role in the intensive ecological agriculture, but it is necessary to reduce its negatives’ externalities in organizing worlwide the plastic end of life management.”
The congress was the opportunity for Bernard Le Moine, CIPA’s general secretary, to launch an appeal to the scientific community to be involve in education, information and dissemination about the necessity of the agri-plastic end-of-life management.
Professor Tuzel , new ISHS president: “The horticulture production is not possible anymore without plastic, it deserve attention and involvement for a waste management contributing to a sustainable horticulture production.Thanks to the CIPA to enlight this important matter.”
