On the last Agritechnica fair, in mid-November 2017, ERDE members(Erntekunststoffe Recycling Deutschland), ) our fellow German plastic producers have adopted a new management scheme for their used plastics. Based on a voluntary eco-contribution, it will be ruled by the profession and will apply to silage and wrapping films with a target of 2018 to 15,000 tones, double the amount collected in 2017. This decision was welcomed by the EPA Europe which advocates its widespread use throughout Europe, especially in Spain and Great Britain. To mark their agreement and underline their commitment to the responsible and efficient management of UAPs, all members of APE Europe have chosen to join ERDE.
